Squeeeee!!!
Apologies in advance for being overly girly, but I am just so excited for some of my friends. And myself of course, but we'll get to that later.
I've been a bad blogger for a while -- not much going on of any sorts of interesting stuff, so although some of these decisions were made a while ago, I still think they are noteworthy.
The first squee goes out to Joan and Kenyon. Yep, they have made the decision to co-habitate. And despite my insistance that I will remain Joan's favorite roommate ever, I have a sneaking suspicion that she will like living with Kenyon better. My only requirements? Just make sure there is room for me to come over and visit. And that they can find a place big enough for their cornucopia of pets.
The second squee goes out to the Canuck. He is finally growing up, using sentances such as "we are going...." and "Jill and I...". You see, the Canuck has finally met a woman who not only puts up with him, but seems to actually like him. We chatted last night about rings and timing and such -- my only requirement is that I get to meet her before he pops the question. But I have a feeling that come December 1st (their 1 year anniversary) I will be in the market for a wedding outfit!
What do both these relationships have in common? Other than the fact that yours truly has the final sign off of approval? Both Joan and Kenyon, and the Canuck and Jill (I don't know her at all to come up with an amusing nickname -- or an un-amusing one even, so Jill it is) met on match.com. So yes, Mama Joan, it is time to buy stock in that company! There may even be hope for me....
Apparently I am being thought of... : )
